"You will immediately notice that John is a rare person. He genuinely cares. How often can you really say that about anyone in this country that you hand over money to for any reason, for anything? He's not a cog in a machine somewhere collecting a paycheck or anonymous thing you're buying something from off the internet which involves zero interaction. If that's the future, no thanks. On very short notice, John invited me to stop by his shop where he performed an immediate, but thorough and high quality setup on my son's Alvarez acoustic guitar. Beyond his exceptional expertise as a luthier, John is a wonderful individual and we quickly became friends. I will visit his shop each year when we return to the Jersey Shore.
